Player Fee Information
Austin Lady Magic Basketball Club is excited to offer a high quality basketball experience for an affordable price.  There are two league types available this year with different fees.  Please keep in mind that the results of tryouts could determine which team your child is placed on. 

Player fees for the 2008 season will be as follows:

Local Teams:
Price per player - $585
10-12 players per team
6 tournaments in the Austin area
Season starts in Feb. and ends in May
Two practices per week (typically practice for 1 hr. 30 min)

Regional Teams:
Price per player - $850
10-11 players per team
9 tournaments in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston
Season starts in Feb. and ends in June
Two to three practices per week  (typically practice for 2 hr.)
Must sign a commitment form to ensure attendance at practice and scheduled tournaments

If you are selected for a team, a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit (applicable to total fees) is due at the team meeting following tryouts. The balance of fees will be due in equal monthly installments beginning February 15th.

Fees for all teams include two uniforms, dri-fit shooting shirt, practice reversible, practice t-shirt, travel bag, AAU individual and team registration fees, tournament entry fees, gym rental fees, team equipment, and coaching salaries. Fees do NOT include hotel and travel expenses.

These teams will have the option to participate in summer tournaments at an additional cost.

Financial Assistance
The Lady Magic will provide opportunities to help offset the cost of participation. 

**General Fundraisers - available to any player that chooses to participate.

**Work/Play Program - need based; players will work a determined number of hours for ALM (tournament preparations, concessions, clinics, etc.); credit earned based on ALM hourly rate and applied directly to individual accounts; requests to participate in the work/play program should be submitted to a director prior to March 1st.

**Scholarship Program - need based; determined by number of sponsors; recipient must demonstrate financial need and community involvement (volunteer hours, community service, etc.); scholarship award will be credited toward player's account; scholarship players will be expected to participate in all fundraisers including the work/play program; anyone interested in the scholarship program must complete the application process; scholarship applications should be submitted by February 1st.
