ERNIE AZIOS

Ernie played college basketball at Pan American University in Edinburg, TX.(Rio Grande Valley). He played point guard and was Tri-Captain of the team in 1967-68 where the Broncs were ranked 3rd nationally in the NCAA College Division. He has received District Coach of the Year honors at Edinburg H.S. where he began his coaching career and at Lanier H.S. in Austin. Ernie still plays basketball on a 40 and over team traveling to Phoenix, Las Vegas and San Antonio for tournaments.

Ernie is approaching his 40th year in teaching and coaching but his passion is teaching kids the game of basketball. He is a teacher and coach at Deerpark M.S. in Round Rock. He is availabe for private or small group lessons. His phone number is 249-5447.
