CARRIE GRONA
Carrie Grona is very passionate about the sport of basketball. Her desire to promote the sport in the Austin area led her to the Austin Lady Magic. She is a co-founder of the club and instrumental to our continued growth and success.
Carrie was a standout basketball player at Midland Greenwood High School. She was a member of a state championship team and set a record for most three pointers made in a game.
Carrie has experience coaching and playing at the collegiate level. Carrie played two years at the University of Texas before transferring to Tarleton State University to complete her undergraduate degree.
Carrie served as a graduate assistant at Texas A&M while earning her Masters Degree in Exerecise Physiology. Grona also did an internship in sports psychology with the A&M Golf team.
Carrie has worked hundreds of basketball camps and clinics and has been involved in AAU basketball for the last 10 years. Carrie is employed by the Leander Independent School District. She is the varsity assistant basketball coach and assistant track coach at Leander High School.
