Antoine Holmes

Antoine Holmes is a Native of Alabama but considers himself an Austinite. Antoine grew up in Austin and played multiple sports at Crockett High School: Gymnastics, Track and Field, Cross Country and Basketball. He is currently seeking his Masters in Education at Concordia University in Austin. Antoine coached for St. Paul Lutheran middle school then trained at Gold's Gym and worked as Operations manager for Gold's. He was recruited to be a Life Skills Coach/After-School Program Specialist at Reagan High School where he was the assistant varsity Volleyball coach and Girls JV Basketball coach.

Antoine has coached select girls teams in the Austin area since 2006 and has always wanted to coach with the Lady Magic. Antoine says “I love basketball because it is my passion and joy when teams come together to be successful on the court and transform that achievement into real life”.

He currently teaches in AISD at Gus Garcia Middle School. This will be Antoine’s first year with Austin Lady Magic and he will bring his expertise and enthusiasm to our high school teams as he helps prepare them for the next level of competition.
